Hi;

I'm tired of fighting corroded bulb sockets. Most of the gaskets on the light assemblies n my 78 spider have failed. The sockets are all intermittent, some have cracked. I priced new lenses, and I'd rather not drop the $500 plus my lenses cleaned up nicely. Anyone know of a source for replacement sockets? I can drill out the rivets easy enough. The ones in the local parts store are all too long.

Thanks

Bob

All four actually. In for a penny in for a pound. so it's 4 doubles (Front turn, rear park/brake) and 2 singles (rear turn). Priced replacement lenses $240 each rear and $40ea front.

I thought that I had some rear light assemblies but I just checked and I must have got rid of them when I cleared out a lot of stuff last year. You should be able to get some at a reasonable price from someone who is parting out a Spider.

I know the sockets are out there, I've seen folks on vintage trailer sites replace theirs. If I find them I'll post here, but I think a good google search will find them somewhere.
