Starting a little cosmetic work on the 164. I removed the pillar cover on the passenger side because the material covering the plastic was completely coming off. Needs new material, and hoping the guys I'm using find a near exact match.

Not sure which pillar you're working on, but I have A and C inner pillar trim that needs a home. No B pillar trim. From '91 S, I'd assume its the same as the 24V cars?

$5/piece, located in Marysville. PM if interested.

Let me know if you ever venture a bit south. I work in Montlake Terrace and live in Kirkland. Could meet you in Lynnwood or any time you're a bit south...soon

just for giggles - tho you may have figgered it out, the A pillar is the frontmost, the B is the second back and the C is the rearmost. ciao jc

A and C covers are different between 12 and 24 valve, A cover is different in that the 24 valve does not have the trim running across the top of the windscreen so has to be a slightly different shape at the top most section, the C pillar cover on 24 valve is totally different in that it has a totally different light in a different location and has a hole where the light is on the 12 valve with a pop in cover.

Thanks for pointing this out. I already brought the A pillar to the upholstery shop. It's a real mess and can't be professionally fixed by your's truly. The vinyl/leather has shrunk and has to be replace.
