Waiting for new wheels so I decided to have some fun. Now you know what red verde wheels look like!
I used red plastidip and pearlized. Can easily peel it back off, but they are going in storage soon.

Had a good friend who had a Mk1 Sirocco S and painted everything on the car red. Didn't help the car in my opinion. The red wheels on the Verde really make the black body side molding stand out - good line for the car.

It's fun to play with this kind of "low impact" styling changes!
