Is there a product or home grown recipe for a solution that is safe to clean the plastic rear window of an '87 spider? Also, I am looking at purchasing the interior cover from I.A.P. to protect the inside of the car when it's parked at work all day with the top down in the Phoenix sun. Any information on the use of this cover would be appreciated.

Thanks,

pjn

Plastic Polish

I use Novus. Comes in three grades, depending on depth of scratches. I cleaned the rear window on my '79 with it last weekend. The window went from a cloudly yellow to clear with little effort. I was very surprised at how effective it was. About $17, including shipping from their website.

Another vote for Plexus; I guess only motorcycle places carry it? I use it on LOTS of stuff--faceshield, plastic trim etc., and it did a great job on my rear backlight.
Novus is the best for *scratched* plastic/acrylics/lexan.
