I have an 84 Spider I just picked up. The rear spoiler is coming loose. Looks like it is coming apart. How did I remove the old spoiler cleanly without damaging the paint?

If anyone is removing a rear spoiler with the center brake light.. I'd like to buy the access hatch for the center light. it is the small access cover to the rear center light. Email info to me ([email protected]) APE doesn't have any Don

The rubber spoiler is both screwed & glued to the trunk lid. Try removing the screws and using a stout fishing line to cut through the glue layer. Paint damage may be inevitable.
