Sometimes I see mentions of rear fog light on Spider
Anyone has rear fog install and could send a picture or is it something that is part of the rear tail light that we can activate by wiring it
I have done this in some VW where all you needed was to install bulb and install switch

Thanks

86 and on have rear fog light standard. they are the ones nearest the lic. plate. they are red and brighter than normal lights. there is a switch in the console by the Hazard and window lifts (if so installed). If the lights turn on via a relay in the fuse panel. I'm not sure if 85 and older had fogs.

My S3 has rear fogs which are the bright ones mentioned. I always turn them on with my headlights even in the daytime. With all the SUVs on the road, I need all the help I can get in being seen.

US S4s (91 to 93/94) have no rear fog lights - do not know if European versions do and if so how they are set up - I thought they were mandatory in Europe?
I believe you will find that they do. They are integrated into the tail light lens. Looking at the S4 you will see one bright white tail lens and one yellowish lens. The yellowish lens is the fog lamp. They may or may not be wired on US spec cars. It depends on what Guido's preferences were that day and if they had the bulbs and switches handy.
