I have removed my left rear axle (small diameter - early type) from the tube, by removing the 4 bolts which also hold the brake shield in order to replace my oil seal. This is a rear axle fitted with Dunlop brakes.
Now I have to remount the axles in the tube and fit the brake shield and tighten the nuts. However, in the Brooklands manual there is no torque value mentioned.
Does any know what torque value is needed?
Just to clarify I attached a picture of the tube end where the bolts go through.
Thanks,
Jeoren
