Hi, what is the rear bumper bolt size and thread for 1971-1974 GTV. I want to remake the chassis attachment points.

Thanks

Hi Ken,
on my 1969 mark 1 1750 GTV they are M12 X 1.5 - if that's of any help to you

cheers,
Ian
Hi, the 69 bumpers are different than the 71 and on as noted by Frogeye and so may have different size and thread in the chassis so I hope someone with a later chassis can chime in here. I want to re make the chassis attachment points,

Thx

Ken, just went out to the shed and measured the bolt for the rear bumper on my 72 GTV...150mm long; 10mm dia (measured on the threads; thread pitch is a fine thread (I don't have a pitch guage)...

Hope this helps...

Thanks, now I can drill for a M10 thread and cut the thread when I determine that.
