By chance was it Wilford Wilkes at Vintage Radio Shop? I bought a Blaupunkt Frankfurt with faceplate from him some years back. He worked out of his house in Brisbin PA.

Yes I believe it was Wilford who did my German factory 356 radio. He is retired but was kind enough to repair my factory am/fm radio with amplifier for $200 or so dollars.
