Ideally, I want an original-style plate for my '59 Giulietta Sprint... but I for now that ugly hole in the dash needs to be covered with something Alfa-appropriate in time for local car shows and - I'm hoping - the Copperstate and Colorado Grand this year. (The previous owner's horrible radio just had to go.)

My recommendation is to buy a reproduction blanking plate.

The originals are essentially impossible to find.

The reproductions are no longer being made (per Tony Stevens at AlfaStop- he is out of them). So get a reproduction while you can (Classic Alfa still had them as of January).

At least then you have one until you hit the lotto and find an original.

Just my 2 cents worth.
