Are the radiator overflow reservoirs different between either S1/S2 or US/Euro spec cars? I suspect they are based on my attempt to put a bracket from a '69 spider on a reservoir I have... I am attempting to fit a 69 bracket (hook and bolt attachment) with the bottle I have and the bracket is short by about 25mm. It does require a m6x50mm bolt but mine would need an m6x75mm bolt!

In my parts book, there are 2 different part numbers 105.48.31.050.00 and 105.48.31.050.02 where the /00 is for spiders up to sn 182xxx and /02 for spiders after - if Im reading it correctly

Well, thanks to good old second thoughts, I solved the issue. What I had to do was to re-route the wiring harness on top of the reservoir -and ignore the wiring harness tab - that gave enough to fit it properly. Since my car was a '68, I am thinking the factory still installed the harness tab in that area as a hangover from '67 and earlier production where the cars did not have an overflow. Not elegant, but it works!
