All - Does the make/break circuit on the relay need an inline resistor to current limit? Needed a new radiator switch and it tested to 0 Ohms on resistance...and I plan to add a dash on/off fan switch.

the relay typically used has a coil resistance meant to run directly off 12 volts, and will have .1A current draw (or thereabouts). The needed relay is a generic BOSCH SPDT relay with 2 pins marked '87', and not '87/87a'.

the radiator switch is simply used to trigger the 'Hot' side of the relay...

yes, all 12 volt relays will take un ballasted 12V no problem
