Quad Boot Cover

Anyone have a picture of the boot cover of a Spider Quad with the passive restraint system? Is it different from the other boot covers? My '89 came with the boot cover, and it has little cut outs for the safety belts, but my '86 did not have one, so I bought one off of feebay, and it looks different from mine in that there are not individual cut outs for the safety belts, but a larger cutout in the center, so I am thinking it may be for a passive restraint Spider.

Yes, what you describe is a boot for a passive belt car. Best bet is take it to an upholstery shop and have them cut and stitch a couple of zippers below where your standard belts are located. You can take your later boot as a template. You'll still have a hole in the center though. With it in place, you don't see much of the boot that covers the parcel shelf. Where it counts, it would work fine.
Thanks! I think I may have to have to add some straps for the lower snaps, seems like the PR one does not have the snaps low enough. I hate to cut one up since the PR ones are probably pretty rare and this is a nice example, but I guess it will still work even after the mods.
That center hole might come in handy though- Like when an officer turns his lights on you, it's nice to have a place to hide the Heineken...;)

Here is what the one that came with my car looks like.
I have an '88 Graduate. (Not sure if these will help).

That one is a little different from the Quad boot cover, I guess it will work on any of them. The only back attachment on the Quad (Veloce too, I think) are the little chrome risers on the chrome strips at the front corners of the trunk.
