Hello,
Would someone please send along the thread size on the GTV Spider prop shaft? Mine is a bit messy and I want to clean it up with a die.
Thanks! Happy New Year!
Eh, sorry, don’t have that on the bench right now.
Take a caliper and measure the diameter, round up to next mm and that is your die size. Your tap/die set should have some sort of thread gauge tool with it. Assuming you have any decent threads left on the shaft you should be able to match thread size to the gauge.
Just go to any auto parts store and grab thread pitch measuring tool at the front desk. It's cheap and very useful, I never chase a thread if I'm not 100% sure, learned it painful way.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
