Hello every body,

Iam doing the restoration of 1750 gt bertone, inside the car there is a space between 2 sheet metal. I would like to know if it is natural and I leave like that or I weld the gap.
We can see the gap on the picture below

It's natural...those are kind of results you often see in a what...40 to 50 year old technology. If you try to weld over it as is the seam sealer left in the gap will give you problems and you need to remove it all as best as possible. But really, there is no benefit to welding this small area up.

Do I have the same thing you have done on your car ? You have weld the gap.
Yes I did, but I also welded in complete new floor panels....so since I was welding all around already I did this area as well. There is little value (structurally speaking) in welding this little gap up though.
