Nice elan pic lotus67, looks a lot nicer than my dads one did when he finished with it, had a massive crash at either rallycross or autocross in at Lydden Hill in the UK in the early 70's , got pushed off the road by 3 minis and hit a 10cm lip sideways at something over 100km/h, did several barrel rolls as well as several end to end flips, ended up coming to rest right side up, minus both doors, bonnet, on complete rear corner (wheel, hub, shock, driveshaft, it had pretty much a formula 2 rear suspension setup), gas tank, one of the other wheels was hanging by not much and a host of other things. He was ok, shattered collar bone and bruised ankles, I have some pics but not in digital format, keep meaning to convert them

Shadi:

Some great photos! Very cool to see. Looks like the best racing pictures are coming from WRC. Do you know what model Alfa that is in Rothman's colors?

Regards.
This car was driven by Yves Loubet in the 1985 Rally season, but they say that this car was red from 1983 to 1985 so I guess it is a 1983 2.5 GTV6
plate no 2888 US 06

Did you notice the very rare GTV 8 in red ;)

Found this pic the other day, made my laugh, I didn't think it was possible to get a fiat 126 (fsm 650 niki in this case) that far off the ground, especially with 2 people and a roll cage in it!! I wonder if it survived the landing??

This is an old autocross picture, and is in miniature by my BB name, but I thought it looks neat seen in larger scale.
