Here's a photo of the Alfa corral on Friday at Portland's Historic Races. Not saying it was lonely over there, but my friend Steve and I ended up being invited to lunch by the BMW corral that had three times as many cars as ours. The BMW corral boss said he's Italian, so felt a kinship with my GTV. In any event, we enjoyed terrific box lunches from Rose's Deli. While not many people showed up, those who did were really friendly. That's new friend Alex in the foreground, with another Beemer owner.

I wish I was there racing this weekend. PIR is in my top three favorite tracks. Great event and even better people.

Are there any fast GTV's or GTA's there this year?

Anthony,

You are missed this year after you had two solid finishes in the Group 8 races with consistent times of 1:35 in each.

Hope to see # 681 next year at 2012 (the year of chaos)
