My car has no timing pointer and I've been using an approximate mark on the tach drive. Now that I'm getting things dialed in and I have a low enough idle to actually set the timing, I'd like to see what the original part looked like so I can either make one, or say "Oh!! That's what that thing in the parts box is!!) Anyone have a picture of the pointer off of the car?

Is this it?

There are a couple of variations including an adjustable version (without bending).
Lets see if I've pictures...
Pooh. Only can find the fixed pointer. There is another with the pointer moveable with a little bolt. It's handy for degreed pulleys.

This is one modified to work with Gordon's small diameter engine pulley.

That's the one Eric!
Nice pulley Ed! I'm partial to those. They work better without notched belts and the belt a tad loose so it will slip at 7000+ rpm and not blow up alternators or generators. The small diameter pulley and Euro type plastic fan with tapered blades helps too. (Race tricks, not usually necessary.)
