From the diagrams on their web page it looks like they're 1/8-27 NPT.

If you're going to go through the trouble of installing the Facet there's no need to keep the mechanical pump. It's just extra complication at that point, and I would suggest just bypassing it and running off the Facet.

Something to consider, yes.

It seems to me that there is a lot more room towards the passenger side of the (trunk) panel to mount the pump. It is further away from the exhaust, however, there would be a longer run of hose both input and output; and of course, the hoses would have to be secured to keep them away from the exhaust... thoughts?

I thought I had a bracket lying around, but I seem to have sold it along with the fuel pump. I have since moved onto a different setup because I am running a Busso V6 in that car. But what I did was start with a Spica pump platform mounted in the stock position. I welded nuts to the chassis to imitate the factory setup for mounting that bracket. Rivnuts or thru-drilling will work. And then I took some 6063 angle and plate aluminum and created a housing that would bolt to the Spika bracket, and then bolted the fuel pump to that. Then I added another piece of plate to protect the pump from any road debris. I used 3M 8115 to glue all the aluminum together and epoxy primed and then textured with urethane bed liner.
