The chip is not for me it's for a friend of mine that has a Milano. He want's to do some minor mods to his car without blowing to much money. Do you have a phone number of a place that has them?
The Milano uses Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection, which has an analog computer for its engine management. You can't chip it but you can replace the entire ECU with modified one, or modify yours.
The changes are accomplished by replacing resistors in the ECU. The modified ECUs primarily do three things: raise the rev-limiter, enrich the fuel mixture, and add more spark advance (done via a second spark ECU).
Alfa Heaven sells a modified ECU called the "Pandora's Box" and Jonathan Kirschstein (sp?) also sells them. The Kirschstein unit is generally better regarded but I have never had a problem with my Pandora's Box unit.
