Alas, my '69 Ebay duetto with "just a little" rust showed up w/no pans or
subfloor tub, so now it's a full restoration. Any geographic suggestions about who in Portland, OR can help w/the non mechanical teardown and subsequent post auto body non mechanical "put back together"

sorry I can't be of any help, but I do feel really bad for you. Which one did you get?

I have been impressed with the work of Akitaman his shop is up by Seattle.
You can check out his work in the thread "Its about dang time"
I could have thought of that! Akitaman is pretty close to Portland, and his work is impressive

I second Akitaman as a good choice- following his threads on Alfa and other Italian restorations, he really knows his stuff and does it right. This is not to take away from other good shops that may be closer, but if you want it done right, Akitaman would be a good choice. Shipping from OR to WA wouldn't be too much, or if you had the means, tow it yourself up to his shop, check out his many projects in work, and when it's done, fly up and drive it home!:D
