Hi Spider lovers!

I will be soon cutting up my doner 81 spider.

If anyone needs any body panels or crash repair parts....
I am in Orange County SoCal.
Parts will be cheap, just cover the time and effort to cut off what you want.
I will be taking the floors, rear panel and a few other bits.

Parts that look good are:
Drivers side front fender, a few ripples, and rusty in the bottom rear.
Complete and solid front clip/rad support/x member.
Doors.
Windscreen surround.
Cowl panel.
Rear fenders.

Anyone need anything?

Does the '81 have the oil vapor return can (near the front, passenger side)? If so, I'm interested in the bracket which holds it to the inside of the engine compartment.

Our '84 Spider is missing one of the trapped nuts that secure the air filter box to the left front inner fender. (picture below)

And whatever is supposed to cover the battery in the trunk - is there supposed to be a plastic cover there?

Ok,
Let me say again..... Only the bare rolling shell.
No plastic, no bumpers.... the rear was there but was a plastic covered swollen bag of rust! I dumped it!
Oh, I do have the rear bumper gas struts...

Her are some pics to clarify what I have left...

Good gas tank, sender and boost pump.
Steering lock and ignition with a key.
Light and blinker stalks.
Steering wheel. Ok, but a little peeling varnish that I plan to strip and refinish.

Cal: look at the pic and see if bracket is there?
Fib: No Bumpers.
Scot: Not sure what you need??
Tifosi: Its there and there is some rust in it, but not a whole lot... I will look again tomorrow.
Oh, edit: Here is a pic.... rusty patch below the battery tray... maybe you could patch it?

I can't see it quite, but mine is rusted right through in the area you describe.

I'm hoping to find at least a hunk to patch in as opposed to a brand new, (and stupidly expensive for a wheel tub), full replacement well. (in your pic I would need the bottom panel part around 11 o'clock to 6 o'clock and up to within an inch of the top edge if not all the way to it to repair mine)

Thanks for the effort.

Bits

GHNL: Mmmm... my 81 looks different. Not sure from the photo if I have that.
Tif: 90% of the well is good.... maybe I can cut half off and I assume its symetrical, so you can have half rotate it and patch what you have? But is shipping gonna be a problem?

Thanks for your efforts, I am sending a PM with a list of fiddly things that the wreckers won't bother with. "ghnl" contact me, I have the battery cover. Usable, needs work.
