Hi --

Does anyone have a source for the rubber boots that fit over the connectors of the parking brake cables? I'm talking about the 'accordion' style ones that slip onto the cable and slide over the fittings (parts manual pg 141, pn#1365.63.417). Mine have turned to dust....and I can't seem to find them anywhere from the usual alfa suppliers. Is there a generic alternative? I just want something 'close' to the original...

Thanks
Nick

Head out to a good bicycle shop. These are the SAME as those use on bicycle hand brake cables. They are available in different sizes.
I find these BETTER than OEM.

Hi Gordon --

I knew I had seen these somewhere! I ended up going to pretty much every bike store in Santa Barbara and no luck, however I did reluctantly pick up a few smaller ones just in case. After a more extensive search with the help of google images, it seems these are really popular on motorcycles (and MB Unimogs). I ended up going with one that fits pretty much all clutch and brake cables for BMW cycles. Fingers crossed, but I bet this will do it.

Cheers
Nick
