No sticker under rear speaker shelf. car is pretty intact. Any other ideas?

Paint code location
Hey folks, I need to help someone with a paint code, but I have never painted any 164's. Where is the paint code sticker? 164S Thanks in advance

According to my ARDONA shop manual the paint code label is on the false firewall in the engine compartment driver's side.
On mine it's stuck under the rear parcel shelf right next to the right hand trunk hinge where it bolts to the carbody.
So, maybe not the same place for all cars?

Same here.
Hard to see because the sticker is on the sloped underside of the rear parcel tray/steel sheet facing away from you.
