Well, the time has come to sand, primer, and prep my Spider for paint.

So far my transmission is pulled as I am rebuilding it, so it is a roller currently. I am planning on doing this outside (prep, not paint) as I do not have dust regulating stuff in my shop.

So I need a few tips here. What grit do most people use to just sand down the paint for a good key for primer on these things? I will use a DA for most of it, and maybe a brick/pad for the curves and edges. The paint does not have any bad crackes or peeling, only fading, so I wont need to get down to bare metal at all.

One other thing- I have a couple of door dents on some of the curves on the front fender. Nothing major but they are visible. I figured I would just use a hard filler for it. Does anyone recommend a good brand they have used in the past that hasnt given them trouble?
