What's the optimal wheel lug nut torque for magnesium Campagnolos (4 stud)? The 115-series owner's manual cites a wide torque value range, but I presume it applies to the stock steel wheels. Thanks much!

I'm interested in this one too - I torque mine to 55lb but I'd like to see confirmation of the optimal. The wheels being steel or alloy makes no difference does it?

The torque spec. is really a function of fastener size more than anything else.

Alfa specified 72 lb/ft. [dry] for the 2 liter cars and this works well.

I agree. My car came new with the Turbina wheels, and I've been using 72 lb-ft for 35 years. They haven't come off yet!
