Its been a few years since we had the big drive down last time for Alfa's 100th was a great day (http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/australian-forum/162917-auto-italia-2010-a.html)...this year its Maserati's 100th and i think we should do another drive down Sunday morning

GENERAL
Auto Italia Canberra is not a concourse event, but is intended as a
celebration and static display of Italian automotive machinery. The aim is to
get as many Italian cars, bikes and scooters in attendance, and to ensure that
everyone has an enjoyable time. As such, we will get a range of vehicles from
the pristine to daily drivers.

Nonetheless, every vehicle has a story and every
owner likes to tell it.

POSITIONING
Entrants are requested to position their vehicles between 8.30 am and 9.30 am.
There is no movement during the display, other than to position those receiving
awards.


REGISTRATION & FEES
Those who wish to display their cars at Auto Italia are encouraged to register their vehicles to be eligible for an award on the day.

Registration will be made available online and will also be available on the day:

Cars: $10
Bikes $5
Scooters: $5

I am taking two cars to display, but my wife has not driven manuals for about 10 years and is not a willing driver. Rather than get her to shuttle me back and forth, is there anyone coming from Sydney with two people in their car who would be willing to swing about 2 km out of their way on the way there and back home so one person can drive my Alfetta GTV TS to AutoItalia (without destroying it)?

So sorry guys had to use the phone to guide us all in this morning and just completely forgot to message you, had a fantastic day I'll post up some pics and vids soon, cheers.

you guys missed out on a great day...

we drove down in a group of about 15 and collected a few along they way including some fiats, lancias and a merak, we ended up arriving in canberra with a 25+ convoy definitely was a site to see.

they estimate about 250 cars on the day which is fantastic considering the forecast rain and approx 12,000 spectators, just a great day to chat with old friends meet new people and enjoy the sun and scenery, you tend to forget about all the other crap.

heres some pics for those that missed out...ive yet to add mine although i seem to have more from the drive...guess was too busy enjoying myself
