Although these mirrors appeared on several premium cars, such as Alfa, Ferrari and Fiat, in the late sixties and very early 70's , they were not designed for specific models. More likely they were dealer installed, but not as an option.

You see them on old 230/260/280 SL Mercedes Benz roadsters as well as Alfa's. Mercedes listed them OEM, I don't believe Alfa did. My '65 1600 Spider Veloce has one.

I think too new for a Giulietta in period but might look fine. 101 came with Lucas, I would guess 750 did too, installed in the US for such cars. Some markets got none.

Without looking through the posts ... These are TOTALLY accurate for a GIULIA SPIDER (101) 106.01.61.017.00 there is a foot pad for these.

Uncle D&T is spot on, they were standard fitment on on the last of the 101 Giulia Spiders, late '64 & '65 definitely - shared in period with the Mercedes Benz cars. They pop up on Ebay Germany regularly.

Earlier 750 & 101 Giulietta & the early 101 Giulias came without mirrors and you got what the dealer fitted if you asked for a mirror

Guilty as charged! In fact I have sold two or maybe three of these in the past several years. Since it is exactly the same mirror, out of laziness, I have used some pictures I had already. If someone if interested, I can send out pictures of the actual mirror. I guarantee this to be the authentic product. Please don't make this into something it is not.
As you well know, Chinese knock-offs are being sold by numerous vendors. In my opinion the Chinese ones come nowhere close to this original.

Whatever was around at the time - Dealers would fit what they had on hand.

The nice NOS one on offer here is period correct for a '64 / '65 Spider but could have been retro-fitted on any earlier Spider if the customer had so desired
