I'd start with BP6ES, normal heat range, extended tip supposed gives better spark. 7 is colder, if you have a hot engine, or mostly drive hard/fast, that would be the thing.
If you know you have a shaved head, might avoid the P and go with B6ES.

The risk from using extended nose plugs is with over sized valves. I have used extended nose plugs with 10.4 Borgo's and 10.6 venolia's and with a 12.8 mm lift camshaft there was adequate clearance. I agree with Andrew that heat range 6 should be fine unless you run your motor very hot. I have a thermocouple in the headers on my Spider that measures exhaust gas temperature, which is the best indication of temperatures inside the combustion chamber. I get the highest temperatures when cruising at high rpm. 5000 rpm in 4th gear is almost 100 degrees higher than wide open throttle at high rpm.
