Hi there, I'm a new AROC Capital Chapter member and have a new AF 4C LE (#016/500). I've joined and left messages on the site, but haven't heard anything back yet. Are there any AF gatherings or events in the Capital Region planned in 2015? Thanks.

Welcome to the chapter! I'm also pretty new, as I bought my first Alfa (an '84 Spider Veloce) last October. Please excuse my ignorance, but what does "AF" stand for?

Trish sent out an email detailing upcoming club activities. If you didn't get the email, I'll be happy to post the list here. The website isn't up-to-date.

Hi Mike,

AF stands for Alfa Romeo and also for me typing too fast and not being careful enough to review before posting! I subsequently got Trish's e-mail. I couldn't attend the event in Baltimore last evening, but will look forward to attending the next event in the Washington area. Thanks for your reply!

Okay. Glad you got the info you needed. Yeah, the Baltimore one is a little far for me, especially on a weeknight! I'll most likely be attending the meetings in McLean, since they are close to where I live. I'm planning on attending the tech session at London Auto on the 28th, the Spring Fling in Potomac on April 18th, and I already have my Spider pre-registered for the Radcliffe Motorcar Co's show on May 2nd. I went to that show last year and it is well worth the drive!

Anyway, hope to meet you at one of the events. Until then, enjoy your 4C!
