Hey John,
Great to meet you over there!
The parade lap of the original Vanderbuilt cup course was a great experience. I little slow for my liking but in the lead were some fantastic pre-war cars.

Thanks for the kind words about the Dino. It will be much nicer come spring... I hope.
See you've got a 74GTV. Are you in the AROCNY chapter?
Hope to see you again.

Understood.
Hope you can find some time in the future for a couple of club events.
I'd love to see your GTV.

So Are we gonna get a New York forum??
We already surpassed the posts in Oklahoma,Lone star, and almost Arizona chapters just in this thread alone!!
If there was a forum i'm pretty sure people would post in it.

Kick back, it's coming. Simon's been pretty busy. He just finished uploading a new gallery from Watkin's Glen yesterday...that's how busy he is!

Central NY

There are a few of us here in (now frozen ) Central New York. This is the Syracuse area. Although originally from NYC I now live in Liverpool.
I know of 5 Spider owners and know where to find more in Ithaca NY.
I am trying to get at least 3 of us together for some Pasta Runs.
Hope to hear more.

There are some events in your area.
Here's a few that are being talked about:

Italian Car Show at Larz Antique Auto Museum in Brookline, MA, in Mid-May
Ferrari Maserati Challenge, Lime Rock, CT late July
Italian Car Corral, Vintage Festival, Lime Rock, CT, Labor Day
Watkins Glen Tipo Grand Prix, Watkins Glen NY, Mid September.
Pasta Fazoom, Cortland, NY, last Sunday in September (spirited driving through rural roads)

Thanks Fred:
I belong to a few BB's and it just seems the Alfa group has the most genuine commaradare or amicizia.
This past Sept there was a showcase of Alfa Romeos at the Glen. According to your thread it looks like similar for next year?
Also, who can I contact re the Pastafazoom?

Yes, I agree with you about Alfa people.

At the Glen last year Alfa was the feature marque so there was an amazing turn out. This year it's Porsche so I don't expect that large an Alfa contingent. That said, I had an amazing time up there and I'm trying to gather up some Alfa buddies to do it again. Even though we are not the star of the show, we will be the best looking!

The pastafazoom website is here: http://www.pastafazoom.com/
I did this last year and had a total blast!!
