Here's our 33 Quattro. Daily runner for 50 weeks a year, then hits the outback for two - Lake Eyre, Birdsville, Broken Hill, Gulf of Carpentaria. 22 years, 350,000km, just won't give in.

My daily work hack

Still lots of niggley things to fix, but going strong. Covered 16K in last 20mths with few problems.
Biggest thing so far is that people keep hitting it while parked, 3 times so far and counting.
Fun to drive but a bit of a handfull in the wet.

All the cars loook so awesome!

I guess it's time for pics of my daily driver for the past 8 months or so.

It's a bit run down!

All your cars look so shmick!

The first pic is a pic of the current alfa family here..

My current on the left, and my potentially future daily on the right.

The 16v is a pretty good daily. good fuel, goes well, but there is too many other problems with the rest of the car that make it a little harder to live with.

Problem with not having much money and wanting your dream car!

On the right is what I want to be my daily..

And the second pic was my last sud of 2 years or so.

Lots of stories in that car ;).

Heres mine,

Needs a few things to be done like a new bonnet, hatch needs obligatory rust at bottom of window removed permanently:mad: paintwork isn't bad, but will do a re-spray some day, once the Sud is done!

Currently on 198,500kms (really don't want to hit 200,000!!) with 7000kms on the rebuilt motor and about 14,000kms on the gearbox.

Will be pulling out the engine this winter to to tidy up the engine bay and may also remove the aircon (too heavy and it never worked!)

Wow thats a good mileage! I have seen the taxis here in Hong Kong with 700,000-800,000 klms on the clock, running like champs. They say that 5000klm oil changes are the key to longevity

Here is mine after the installation of Koni yellow and apex coils. Its is 3 or 4 cm lower that stock suspension . Note that i have 185/60/14 front and 195/60/14 rear tires so the arks above wheels look so full. It is my daily car and i love it. Still i have to install rear wing from a sprint and side panels from a 33qv.
