Greetings to all. I have looked at this forum for year and finally joined. I have owend an '86 Spider Veloce for 26 years. No major problems outside of the usual (fuel lines, fuel pump fuse, air intake duct, etc.

Can anyone identifiy the two connectors shown in the picture? My first thought was one of the flywheel sensors, but uncertain about the other. They are on the drivers side of the car. Thanks.

Top one is the Oxygen Sensor (aka Lambda )

Is the bottom connector, in fact, one of the flywheel magnetic sensors?

Thanks

Just figured it out...both connectors are for the lambda probe.
Your '86 Spider would have a heated O2 sensor. The single connector (with a green wire) is for the actual sensor, the other two wire wire connector is for the heater (12V+ & 12V-).

Flywheel sensor connectors look similar (one is black, one is gray) but will be found near/under the windshield washer reservoir.

Welcome on board the Alfa BB! Glad you joined up, and sending photos was a good move (although folks are going to want to see the rest of your Spider). ;)
