Hi everyone, I'm a new member here and a very proud new owner of a 1988 Alfa Spider. It's a Graduate but the prior owner added some extras like leather seats, Euro cams, Daytona wheels, air conditioning etc. First thing I would like to say is I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!! I can barely describe in words how great it feels to drive this italian beauty. Prior owner took real good care of it, had all service records saved and I also brought it in to an Alfa specialist to get a few things done here and there (typical service stuff: replacing fluids/oil, valve adjustment, minor repairs etc). I also added a Magnaflow exhaust which is pure music to my ears.
I also own a 1998 BMW m3, which I've loved for many years and continue to drive it insanely hard every time I take it out (on an open road without traffic of course). I meticulously maintain it, so it looks and feels close to mint condition (and has 170,000 miles), drives like brand new.
I've been driving the Spider a lot more than my m3 right now. The way the Spider feels and sounds is just very unique and is just pure sensory overload. When I first bought the car I thought I was just going to drive it a few times a month, but I'm finding myself driving this car almost everyday. It's got 130,000 well-serviced miles on it and runs like a dream. I've also noticed the harder I drive it, the better it is for the engine. I'm pretty sure I blew out all the carbon deposits the first week I owned the car, as the engine feels even better now than before. Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and share some pics. I can go on and on writing about how much I love this Spider, but I don't want to bore you guys and I'm also sure you already know what I mean. Anyways, here are some pics.
