A caliper is one of a mechanics's best friend.
Remember Webers like low pressure, under 3 PSI.
You don't need to worry about the metal fuel lines.
All the changes will take place under the hood.
Remember further help depends on pictures and a complete
run down of conversation process..

....We need to get tough with these new guys............;)

(PS: happy to help)...:sneaky:

Tell us about your name. I assume that you are from
San Francisco and you make bread...

I don't think you have to use metric. If memory serves it's 3/8" line. Metal line should be the same size. I've had no issues using normal old imperial line with mine. If you need a regulator and don't feel like spending big bucks on one of the glass ones, just get a Holley 1-4psi regulator. Should be like $20.

Whats wrong with Spica?
It was/is a Rube Goldberg re-design of a diesel pump to meet USA emission standards..

The hose from the tank to the pump/filter in the rear is much larger than the fuel line after the rear filter.
The USA hose size to fit the Weber fittings is 5/16"
