Bienvenue !

Welcome to the AlfaBB.

You have a very early 1956 Giulietta Spider, Series 750D.
You may wish to send an email message to Marco Fazio requesting information on your car: [email protected]

On the contrary - simply post a photo and the AlfaBB will give you the answer ... sometimes more than one !

Non-original parts

you show me the spark plug cables ?
and what about the board ?
Yes - the spark plug wires and terminals are not original.

The board ??? If you mean the board that the electric fuel pump is mounted on ... it is not original.
Your engine would have used a FISPA Sup. 60 fuel pump, mechanically driven by a lobe on the original exhaust camshaft.

The first pic shows the original type pump fitted to your engine.
The second pic shows the next series pump, FISPA Sup. 80, which replaced the Sup. 60 design. The additional parts are the attachment plate and drive lever.

750 Spider dashboard

Bonjour cgvv

Your dashboard should look like this (I posted this picture on the other thread about red interiors {http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/giulietta-giulia-1954-65/179356-whats-correct-red-interior.html}, but will move the discussions here)

From the pictures of your car, there are a few incorrect items, the steering wheel should be black together with the steering shroud which should be crackle black - if there is no one near you who can do this, you can ship it to Omnicron in the UK, they are Lancia restoration experts and do wonderful crackle finishes on items. If the steering wheel is not cracked, ordinary brake fluid does a great job of stripping paint off plastic parts without damaging them. There should be no wood finish on the instrument panel either.

Beautiful Spider - what is the chassis number ?

This is an archive picture of a '59 750D white with red interior -the extra 'coir' matting on the floor is not original, it should be rubber mats & carpets just like George Kraus' (Alfabits) car

The easiest way to get paint off plastic parts is to use ordinary brake fluid - does not damage plastic, it will only remove the paint - wash the knobs well afterwards with some soap & water
