Just replaced mine engine mounts (and upper speedometer cable),
I was loosely using this thread:
http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/spider-1966-up/18478-engine-mount-replacement-dummies.html#post154821
That is an excellent "how-to"...
Did I mentioned that I almost burned my Alfa? somehow I did pinched a hole in the return fuel line, nut realized that in a nick of time...
and my old engine mounts are looking like that:
(passenger side was sagged so bad that i had trouble with putting a wrench onto lower bolt)

I just replaced mine about a month ago. The passenger side had actually separted into two pieces.

I removed the hood, radiator and fan prior to starting the job. Doing that gave me great access from the front of the car and made the job downright easy.

I followed up the next weekend and replaced the tranny mount.

It felt like a new car after I was finished.
