Oh great. The drought is about to end! As soon as he3r0 removes the old top I predict rain of Biblical proportions...
well... its not like I have the old top... rear window is missing, and crossmembers are not attached anymore to the top... so its more like horribly looking bikini top... ;] and knowing my luck.. it will be a hurricane or something like that...

that would be great :)
though i believe i can tackle putting it on, but we still can do some barbecue together ;)))

i did pulled out the old one today, now have to prepare frame for the new one,
but there is a question in there, seems that i cant find anywhere that rubber seal for the front (i may be able to reuse the old one) and my top will need very badly this part: http://www.international-auto.com/index.cfm?fa=p&pid=2444&posid=857981

though atm im looking for a less expensive alternative than this one...

Your link to IAP doesn't show me a part. What item are you needing?
their catalog calls it: Molding Channel, Convertible Top
Item No.: 03502

its the chanel on the front bow that holds the front molding in place... mine is rotted quite badly and cant be reused... and according to IAP it is $69...
as I said, quite pricey for this particular part... but if I would not find anything less expensive I`ll have to bite the bullet ;)))

Ps. IAP`s website does not work for me in Firefox, I have to run it in IE :/

Hi, Saliboy. Welcome to the BB. (You should start a new thread to get more replies.)

Meanwhile, try using a pencil (avoids chopping off your finger tips) to see if the fan will turn. If you put the controls into the position for heat to go to the ****pit (vs the windscreen or off) you can peek in the bottom of the heater unit in the passenger side footwell (assuming LHD) and glimpse the fan blades.

The blower motor sits at the very bottom of the heater unit. Any moisture that gets in there will affect the blower motor. If you are lucky it's just stuck from non-use. Hopefully poking it with the pencil will un-stick it. Otherwise the heater assembly will have to come out to access the blower motor for repair/lubrication.

Put 'heater' in the search box to find lots of threads about the problem.

That looks like the rubber seal that fits into the aluminum strip that is riveted to the conv top's header rail.
Yesss because that is what I also was looking for...
and I`m afraid that IAP does not have that molding channel, so I have to wait a bit...
