Hi there!!!

I joined de forum some time ago but just decided to make a formal presentation now.
I bought a 1750 Berlina. My father had one just when I was born (arround 1978) and I always loved alfa´s. My new alfa belonged to my wife´s uncle. Here some pictures.

Nice!

I think the 1750's are better looking than the 2 litre models (especially the interior).

But then again, I am biased!

Throw up some more details (colour is a bit hard to make out in the pics) about the car
when you get a chance.

Must be pretty rare down in Montevideo.

Cheers.

Ok, here some more details:

-Is a series 2
-Colour would be a British Green:confused:
-Engine sounds, looks, smells good (knock wood)
-Water pump rebuild
-Gearbox!! was ok untill 4th gear get stucked, striped, cleaned, replace some parts, solved!!
-Took all the carpets away, found some rust on the floor!!! solved!
-New tires, have to do alignment.
-Suspension, put new limit straps, looks like it had old red konis, didn´t touch anything else yet, chash running out tooo fast with alfa´s!!
-Have to do exhaust!

Car was for several years a daily use with some ocasional track day´s
It should be out of the garage by this week!! Used very little since I bought it. I am planning to do some regularity rally on it!!

Lots of work and money, waiting for lots of satisfaction, my three year old son loves it!!!

Regards

Diego
