A great car well bought.
Thanks for all the help. I most certainly would have bought the wrong car. I looked on and off again for almost 2 years and finally found what I was looking for.
1991 S4 with 58k on the clock. Mechanicaly sound and not a spot of rust. PO changed motor mounts, suspension bushings, clutch and exhaust. The only thing wrong with it is the driver window regulator which the PO most graciously agreed to buy and ship on because he promised every thing worked.
BTW he has a GTV listed in the classifieds. I didn't drive it but it is exactly what he says it is. Heck if I had the cash I would have bought it too.
