Bianchi I checked my car Wednesday as promised, front left brake line runs through bodywork on left side of engine compartment through what looks like a strangely oversized rubber grommet, no time to inspect in detail as had to run to drive down to the family 4th celebration as soon as my Alfa was safely back in the garage. Right side, couldn't see for same reason, and having just drove the car, it was too hot to look at up close on an already hot day.

Since your Spider is not going to enter a concours competition and win a "just like Alfa made it" prize, I think you can run your brake lines wherever you like :)

So how long have the oem lines worked in your car? The hole that the brakeline goes thur is huge compared to the line. Good luck
