I am fairly new to the bb, though I've owned several Alfas and love reading the intelligent, helpful posts. I have a request that is a little unusual but might be fun for someone.
In Palos Verdes, Ca, our education foundation is having a big Italian themed fundraiser tomorrow, (Monte Carlo night), and they requested I bring my '60 Spider Veloce or a Ferrari to display, but I can't pick it up from my warehouse tomorrow.
I know this is a crazy idea, but some of my friends and I help each other when someone needs something like this. The friend who could do a Ferrari
is in Asia right now, but I would rather have an Alfa.
If there are any Alfa guys in my local area that would like to have their car admired by a few hundred people let me know. There is obviously no driving or funny business allowed, this is a fairly well-heeled crowd. Not me, I am a car guy and racer through and through, lol, but the wife says I have to dress up (like Tony Montana fortunately) and act respectably!
I live in Palos Verdes Estates and can help in any way to get the car up here, i.e.- give someone a ride back and forth. Or you can take my 95 Carrera Cab home for the night. And if you happen to have an 8c, you can slum it home in my gt3, big lol! (but seriously!)
