Can it be replaced with the transmission still in the car???? I STILL have NOT recieved the new one from IAP, but I want to get this thing back on the engine so I can be just one seal away from completion (kicking my self in the butt for throwing away the old seal).

Yes, you have to remove the front half of the driveshaft, the donut, and the output yoke (34mm nut, pretty tight). Then pry out the seal without damaging its installation surface in the trans and drive in the new one.

Reassemble, having marked everything carefully first. Torque the output yoke nut, grease the front driveshaft bushing where it fits on the "olive," etc.
