You want to find a good paint and bodyshop supply store that carries the SEM line of aerosols. Their Classic Coat line is specifically for leather and vinyl and comes in a wide range of colors. Good stuff, but do clean the surface well and spray according to directions. It's very durable. Hope that helps!
I agree with Jeff. I don't know the color code/names for your Spider. But for our 1984 Spider "Bluebird Brown" is a good match for the door panels. (It was somewhat dismaying to find out that "Bluebird Brown" matches the seats used in Bluebird school buses...)
Thanks for your replies guys. I am looking for something i can find at autozone etc. I think i mislead you about the color. It is not brown, but a dark yellowish color common on spiders. I called it a light tan. Sorry i dont know the official alfa name. Addition input regarding a duplicolor etc product would be appreciated

thanks john

not sure if they have it at the local autostore, but the SEM palomino seems to be the correct match and the best stuff to use:

I doubt you'll find the right stuff at Auto Zone or a similar chain store. Find an auto paint & body supply store. They usually carry the SEM brand products.
