hi all ,
i got my 147 2003 1.6 L recently which equipped with Full remsa exhaust with changing the header and of course removed the catalyzer
i put also K&N air filter
but when i asked my mechanic that i need more acceleration and top speed (my top speed now stopped at 200KMH no more ) he advised me with to replace my current gear box with 1.8 gearbox or 2.0 L
so i asked you about this matter and if there any different between 1.6 , 1.8 and 2.0 L gearboxes and is it will be useful for me to change it
and also is there a different between flywheels for the three types
need your advises please coz i'm going to change it after 2 days only

dear john , 1st thanks for ur help
really i don't know what's Q2 but i'm talking about little improve in acceleration and top speed with the same fuel consumption so i suggest and asked about 1.8 gearbox
anyway i don't have any issues with motor or gearbox yet
but then i guess i'll replace the motor to 1.8 with its gearbox as i heard that 1.8 is more sporty motor than 1.6 or 2.0 and nearly with the same fuel consumption
i wish i'm right
