This isn’t a very good picture but it lets you see the fundamental thing: it’s not a very complicated mount. The bottom bracket is simply a upside-down U shaped piece of metal with a hole in it to receive the stub on the bottom of the grill. In the picture it looks like a flat bar but the U shape gives it some rigidity. The bracket is just tack-welded to Inside of the nose panel. So, nothing elaborate at all. Perhaps at one point there was a rubber bushing in the hole, but neither of my 71’s had that be the time I got them. The grill just rests in the hole and is actually supported and attached to the car by the two long screws that angle through. I apologize for being too lazy to pull the grill for you- If you think that you really need that, let me know.
