Mefford Garage in Columbia can work on them. He has helped me and others with early Alfas.

They might. I know several people who have taken older Alfas down to Mefford and had good results. He's one block off of the square in Columbia going east.

Thanks, somer. Did you go, jgmapman? I am also looking for a mechanic around Nashville. Thinking to go to Mefford even though it's a long haul. I saw an episode of American Pickers once where the main guy walked into a huge auto garage in Columbia and my exact Alfa was up on hydraulics. I never could find out what the garage was. Perhaps this one ... I have been so jerked over in $$$ in Nashville that my Romeo has been neglected far too long.

Hi.
Yes thanks. Mike Mefford is a good guy. He shares The building with Mike Wolfe from Pickers. Mike Mefford is there every day. he’s already helped me with some cars

I really want to go to Mefford, but my car won't start - perhaps the starter - and he's 56 miles from me. My other option is to go to another recommended shop Valdez Motorsports in Nashville. I spoke to Mr. Valdez & he said he does work on Alfas (my husband saw one like mine there one day so that's a good sign) and his rates are 82.50/hr. Seems reasonable. But can he get the job done right is the question. Anyone here used him before?

Thanks in advance. Such a dilemma for many years here - I miss my Italian brothers at Alfa Italia in Burbank, CA!

I hear you it’s a nightmare. Try servicing a Lancia! Good luck
