I have removed the cracked & ugly dash so I can attempt repairs. Under the dash on the right side is the item pictured below. The bit in the middle appears to be a fuse holder. Since there is no fuse what ever it is not currently functioning.

What is it?

I think is was something to work with the CAT ...mind fuzzy ATM.

Not as fuzzy as you think, Pete.

The device monitors the cat temperature thru a temp probe and, if the cat reaches the device's setpoint, turns on a warning light on the dash.

Jim, it has been over 25 years since I have worked on and built the race cars for my boss.( but you knew that part already)
There are alot of things I try to forget , and some thing are fuzzy after that long. Sometimes I like these test posts,but I think some just sit by their computer to chime in first. This might be my 3rd P-1
