Hey everybody, my name is Jordan Lee. I met some of you guys at the Christmas party, i was the tall one with the long hair. I RSVPd to the January banquet but I ended up not being able to go. With school starting and everything like that, I was too busy to make it. So since I couldn't go and meet everyone there I'm posting here as my formal introduction. I'm very happy to be a part of this community!

One thing though, I bought the club membership online and selected AROSC at the AROC website a few weeks ago, but I still haven't gotten anything in the mail. How long does it take to receive that stuff?

Good things will happen, in their own time

Jordan,
First, welcome aboard. It was good to meet you at the Holiday Party.
And good to meet an Alfa lover who is still years away from AARP membership!!

Give AROC National a few more weeks to get you set up.
In the meen time send an email to our Alfacionada Newsletter editor about you signing up. Phyllis will put you on our mailing list so you won't miss our February Alfacionada newsletter. Phyllis Gaylard - [email protected]

Send me an email at [email protected] and I will send you the January Alfacionada. We are electronic and snail mail.
Now as your "penalty" for missing the January luncheon you should make another event quickly:
Sat Feb 19 - Autobooks gathering. A few hours to drink free coffee, look at Alfas and browse the greatest auto and aero book store.
or for xtra credit Sunday Feb 27 at the Desert Classic Concours.
More details at: arosc.org

also the new HPDE/Time trial/Race format to the competition events is very conducive to new drivers. So you need to check out the AROSC track events.

Hello Jordan. You should receive something within a couple of weeks. If not, send a private message to me.

Welcome to AROC.
Dave

P.S.: Maybe I should mention that I'm the president of AROC.

Hi Jordan and welcome to the Alfa Board, as some call this forum. Welcome to the club also.

I remember meeting you at the Christmas party. As I recall, you were a real likable fellow. I hope you still are (my sick humor, it's almost as bad as Paul's).

If you can remember half the people you met, I'm Bob Russell and I share a Datsun 240z with my brother.

Haha, I kind of figured that one out Paul. :p I will definitely be there for the AutoBooks event. I don't think I'd be able to make it to the Desert Concours with school and all that. I don't think my car is quite up to concours par anyways. I would love to go to some track events, I just have to get the cash saved up. Oh and I received my Alfa Owner magazine today actually.

Ah, good to know. If I have any problems I know who to talk to now. :p

I think I'm still a likable fellow, or as least I like to think i am.

Thanks all, glad to be here!
