I've got her :D

she's a beauty, number 111 of 190 and she's tucked away in the garage till I get her through her tests and registered.

I've got a few pics that I'd like to share with you, I'll take more if the sun ever comes out again.

So very sweet!
thanks Gubi, she drives like a dream too :) thanks for looking.
Looks great!

Good to see the final product after all the posts about importing.

Looks great. Red is definitely the 2nd best colour:)

Mine is silver! so I'm biased. :)

So now you have two red spiders..... are you keeping both?

Congrats
Nice looking Spider!!

Is it on the CE registry?

Thanks for all your help with the importing questions I had :D

I will be keeping both spiders, I have the hard top on the 93 for the winter and the 94 will be for the summer. :)

Nice looking Spider!!

I don't know if it's on the registry? Do you have a list of the Ce's that you've got? She is 111 of 190. I am the 3rd owner. The original owner had her till July of this year. I have all the paperwork this car has ever had, work done, check ups, original certificate of ownership, original buyers form from the dealership and much more. The only thing I didn't get was the boot cover.
Two:eek:
Very, very nice.
I'm way jealous.
This has to be the best testimonial that red spiders are best.

So now you have to find a new house with a three car garage.

I just looked... it is on the registry. Previous owner was Vincent? I recently added it. I'll update it with your AlfaBB user name. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a copy of the registry!

Glad to see you purchased it... looks like a really, really nice car!
Thanks, pm sent :)

I need some help with the walnut burl strips on the door edge, they are both cracked and peeling. Is there a refinishing thread on the bb? I've not been able to find it. thanks for your help :)
Nice.............very nice! :) We need more pictures! :D

That was the previous owner. He's an AROC member (with more than one Alfa) and also a member of this Board.

BB member "alfa_164s" (from Canada!) sells great wood kits for both Spiders and 164s. He can also make a custom kit.

Congrats on the purchase - she's a great car!

Best regards,
Congrats on your acquisition!!

I have a question: If you don't mind telling me, I am curious as to where the Alfa/PF badge is mounted... I thought that it usually sits in the middle of the nose at the leading edge, right above the Alfa emblem but I may be wrong on that.

Thank you sharing the pictures & have fun with your Italian beauties,

My Spider's nose badge is not mounted, but it goes above the alfa badge on the edge of the wrap around nose (not on the front hood.)

Thanks Enrique, for the info on the wood kits, both door edges need to be fixed as they are broken.

Ah, I was wondering where the cloisonne was on your car, too! Glad to hear that cleared up. You have a very, very original car.

I just sent you the registry via email.

And this goes out to any '94 Spider CE owners "lurking" in this forum... we'd love to have your car on the registry! Please drop me a private message (use the link below in my signature) and I'll send you the registry so you can fill it out with your car's information.
Thanks Hooligan for the list :D

I just ordered a new AlfaRomeo script for her from IAP, $21.50, saves me the hassle of filing a claim with DAS transport over the broken one.
i wish my car had the wood like in the commerative edition's.

makes it look very classy.

As I mentioned before, BB member "alfa_164s" sells very nice kits in different woods for our Spiders... There are pics of these on the BB...

Best regards.
Congratulations, young lady! She sure is beautiful! I'm really glad to see that another C.E. goes to a good home. May your love affair be long, fun and naughty!:)
